In Good Order

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Your name, address, and words matter to your family — and they matter to us. Here’s exactly what we collect when you visit or order, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

In Good Order (“we,” “us,” “our”) sells the In Good Order legacy binder and its digital companion files at ingoodorderco.com. This page explains what we collect when you visit the site or place an order, why we collect it, and the choices you have. This page is maintained by the In Good Order team and is not an independent certification.

What we collect

  • Order details — name, email address, billing address, and order contents you enter at checkout.
  • Payment information — card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Shopify Payments and/or Shop Pay). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Customer support messages — anything you send us by email.
  • Site usage — pages visited, referring site, device and browser type, and general location (city / country level), collected through cookies and pixels described below.

How we use it

  • To process your order and email you the download links.
  • To deliver the digital PDF files you purchased and re—send them if needed.
  • To answer support questions.
  • To measure ad performance and improve the site.
  • To detect fraud and comply with our tax and record—keeping obligations.

Cookies, pixels, and analytics

We use first—party cookies to keep the site working (for example, remembering your cart), and we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure which ads and pages lead to purchases. The Meta Pixel records events such as page views, checkout starts, and completed purchases, and shares them with Meta so we can report on and optimize our advertising.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting, or opt out of interest—based ads at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.

Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the store:

  • Shopify — storefront, checkout, and order fulfillment.
  • Shopify Payments / Shop Pay — payment processing.
  • Email provider — to send order confirmations, download links, and support replies.
  • Meta Platforms — for the pixel and ad measurement described above.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and customers.

How long we keep it

We keep order and customer records for as long as needed to fulfill the order, honor any support obligations, and meet tax and accounting obligations (typically up to seven years). Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email ingoodorderco1@gmail.com from the address on your order. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

The In Good Order site and product are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify customers by email.
